Reader’s Review: the Snow Storm at the Trafford Centre
Today, my 11-year-old daughter and I went to see the Snow Storm show at the Trafford Centre, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. There was a great range of acts, truly offering something for everyone, and all the families around us — with children of different ages — were clearly enjoying themselves.
The show is a brilliant mix of circus skills, panto-style fun and an ice spectacular all rolled into one. I loved the breathtaking trapeze artists, while my daughter was especially impressed by the ice skating and, of course, the hippo!
There were plenty of heart-in-your-mouth moments, and with so much happening on stage it was sometimes hard to know where to look — but we won’t give away any of the surprises. The Christmas theme was fantastic and featured a wide variety of characters that appealed to all ages.

It’s clear that a lot of time, effort and investment has gone into the props, costumes and choreography, all of which really brought the show to life. The music was fabulous too, and every member of staff we encountered was hardworking and friendly.
Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been already.
Top tip: arrive early to allow time for parking. There’s no designated circus parking area, and the Trafford Centre was particularly busy due to the time of year.
