Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show Makes European Premiere in Manchester
This winter, everyone’s favourite mischievous sheep is coming to Manchester for a festive spectacular like no other. Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show will make its European premiere at Aviva Studios, home of Factory International, running from 11 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.
In a collaboration between internationally acclaimed Australian circus company Circa and Academy Award®-winning animation studio Aardman, this heartwarming family production brings the beloved characters of Shaun, Bitzer, and the Flock to life in a spectacular fusion of circus, theatre, dance, and comedy.
Combining Aardman’s trademark wit and charm with Circa’s breathtaking acrobatics, Shaun the Sheep’s Circus Show promises a visual treat for audiences of all ages. Expect daring stunts, aerial feats, tumbling, juggling, trapeze acts, and a healthy dose of slapstick humour as the mischievous flock entertain both the Farmer—and the audience—in their own unique style.
Under the direction of Yaron Lifschitz, Circa’s Artistic Director and CEO, the ensemble pushes the boundaries of physical performance while capturing the warmth and playfulness of Shaun’s world. Scenic Designer Dan Potra and Costume Designer Libby McDonnell have created an imaginative new setting where animation and live performance seamlessly collide.
