This year, Storyhouse is thrilled to present a brand-new adaptation written by award-winning playwright Anne Odeke (Shakespeare’s Globe; Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre) in her Christmas debut. Under the direction of John Young (National Theatre; Chester Mystery Plays; Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre), the production promises a vibrant, heartfelt, and contemporary take on the beloved story. Completing the creative team is celebrated designer Amy Jane Cook (Theatr Clwyd; Liverpool Royal Court; Southbank Centre), whose imaginative sets and costumes will bring the world of Beauty and the Beast to life in stunning style.
