Creative Writing challenge 2023
The Lowry is proud to present the first annual Creative Writing Challenge 2023!
Open to all children in Greater Manchester aged 8-11, the Creative Writing challenge is an exciting new competition which aims to build children’s confidence and amplify their voices through creative writing.
The competition has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Beryl Jones, who along with her husband Trevor is a Gold Patron of The Lowry.
Entries can draw on all forms of writing for performance including poetry, short fiction, plays and rap! The winner will get to perform their writing on stage at a prize giving event on 18th May as well as some other amazing prizes.
