Jack and his mum are excited to win a lottery prize, but dismayed to find the winnings are not bees and honey but a cow. Jack takes the cow to a car boot sale to try and sell her, but instead swaps her for some takeaway food which includes some magic beans.

The Giant in this tale is not large in size, but definitely feels he is hugely self-important. However, by the end all wrongs are righted and the baddies see the error of their ways.

All the children sang, danced and acted with enthusiasm and the packed audience of admiring family and friends cheered them to the rafters and interjected when necessary in the tradition of all good pantos.

Alison Lea, Director of Music in Juniors, said: “We were thrilled with the production. They children performed in a manner way beyond their years and the quality of their singing was a pleasure to hear.”
