Dreaming about Sleepovers: Slumber Parties for Kids and Grown-ups
Are your kids just dreaming about getting away from the comfort of their bedrooms and having fun with their friends during sleepovers? Probably even more so now after long periods of lockdowns and social distancing!
Knowing that thrill from her own experience as a parent, Louise Nicholson, who’s been running Little Superstars and Superstars Holiday Clubs for many years, recently started a new venture – Louise’s Slumber Parties. The idea was to create and build parties for each child’s individual needs. Louise says, “Louise’s Slumber Parties have been created with huge amounts of attention to detail, ensuring children’s wildest party visions come to life!”
There are a number of options currently on offer to help organise the perfect summer party. The classic sleepover is a themed event, which allows the host to choose from the Football, Unicorn, Enchanted Wood & Jungle, Butterflies, Rose Gold, Harry Potter, Fortnite, and Army options (with more being added over the coming months). If you’re already feeling stressed about the planning and cleaning up – fear not! “On hand from start to finish, we’ll be there from set up to tidy up!” promises Louise.
With the weather getting better and summer holidays fast approaching, spending a night in the back garden is probably the next best thing to a wild camping expedition in the Sahara desert. To help you throw the perfect outdoor extravaganza, Slumber Parties offers Bell Tent hire; this includes mattresses with themed bedding, cushions, individual tables, a chandelier, fairy lights and various other lighting, rugs etc.
If you’re not tired after a year of Netflix watching and binging films on Prime, the movie night party may be your thing. It works not just for kids but for their parents too. Set ups suitable for both outdoor and indoor viewing are available – both come with a projector, stand and extension cable, along with sign in details for movies, and comfy cushions and blow up settees can be purchased separately. Those who feel that no movie night is complete without snacks will be relieved to know that a popcorn maker and boxes will also be provided.
