Bonfire Nights and Fireworks display are slowly coming back to our life. Also some of the public events we enjoyed in the past were cancelled this year. Here we have a list of local events you sill visit.
4th November 2022
Bowdon Bonfire & Fireworks Spectacular
Times: Gates open 6pm, children’s display at 7pm, bonfire lighting at 7.20pm, 2nd display at 8pm and grand finale at 8.45pm
Tickets: kids (3-13yrs) £8 on the gate (£5 in adv); adults (14yrs +) £15 on the gate (£10 in adv) and families (2 adults / 2 kids) £40 on the gate (£26 in adv)

Bramhall Firework Festival at Stockport Rugby Union Football Club
Two professional firework displays, a fair, stalls and performances from the amazing Ignite fire dancing team.
Times: gates at 4.30pm, children’s firework display at 7.15pm, the main display at 8.30pm.
Tickets: £5 (3yrs old +), £20 family of 5, £50 – VIP (complimentary soft drinks, priority parking and access to raised viewing platform)
Parking: free at Hazel Grove High School, £3 priority at the club

Escape to Freight Island and Mayfield Park Bonfire Night
Escape to Freight Island and Mayfield Park have teamed up to create a Bonfire Night event featuring firework displays, DJs and walkabout performers. There will be two sessions of fireworks.
Times: show 1, Mayfield Park – 5.30pm to 7.30pm with fireworks display at 7pm; show 2, Freight Island – 8pm until late, with fireworks display at 9pm
Tickets: for Mayfield Park only is also available via the main park entrance and will not include access to Escape to Freight Island, price – £5 for adults and £2 for children. For the 5.30pm session, children under 2s and adults over 60s are free.
Tickets for Escape to Freight Island (includes access to Mayfield Park): £8 for adults and £2 for children.

Ince and Elton Scout Group Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular
Organised firework display and refreshments.
Times: site opens at 6.45, no bonfire this year, the first rocket is scheduled for 7.30pm
Tickets: free, donations will be accepted on the night

Buile Hill Park Bonfire Night
Traditional family bonfire party with funfair with hot dogs, candy floss and burgers, with bonfire and fireworks display.
Times: gates and funfair opens at 4.00pm, Little Sparks Firework display lit at 5pm, fire performers in the Fire Garden are at 5.15pm, firecracker firework display at 6pm, fire drawing and flames in the Fire Garden are at 6.30pm, fire performers in the Fire Garden are at 6.40pm, bonfire lit at 7pm, main firework show at 7.30pm. Site closes at 9pm

Chester: The Lord Mayor’s Fireworks Extravaganza 2022 at Chester Racecourse
The annual event will have a beautiful display of fireworks, live music and a fun fair.
Times: 5pm – Gates Open, 5.30pm – Local band on stage, 6.45pm – Toddler display, 7.30 – Main display

Congleton Park Bonfire Night
Event organised by the Rotary club of Congleton. Fairground rides and plenty of refreshments will be available on the day.
Times: gates open at 5pm, torchlight procession to light the bonfire at 6pm, small firework display for families with young children at 6.30pm, the mail firework dosplay at 7.30pm.
Tickets: adult £10 (£7.50 adv), child of 5-14 £6 (£4 adv)

Poynton Bonfire & Fireworks
Massive bonfire and firework displays, live music, licensed bar and food stalls.
Times: Gates open 5.30pm, live music on stage from 6pm, bonfire is lit at 6.15pm, junior fireworks display at 7pm , main fireworks display at 8pm, site closes at 9pm.
Tickets: Family ticket (2 Adults + up to 3 Children) £30; Single Adult ticket (age 17+) £12; Single Child ticket (3-16) £6. Under-3s free
Tickets are online only and will not be sold on the gate

Urmston Sports Club Bonfire and Fireworks Night 2022
Spectacular firework display and bonfire, DJ set, rides, inside and outside bars, burgers, hotdogs, churros and coffee. Raising money for Urmston Sports Club.
Times: Gates open 5pm, Bonfire Lit 7.00 pm, Firespinners entertainment 7.30pm and Fireworks Display 8.00pm
Tickets: £5 per adult, £3 for children 5 – 16, under 5 years olds are free
Tickets will not be available on the door.

Warrington – Gulliver’s World Bonfire Night Fireworks Bonanza
All usual rides and attractions, musical acts with special guests plus firework display.
Times: the park opens at 12 noon till 8pm, fireworks display will take place at approximately 7.30pm
Tickets: (include meal) adult £30, child £30, under 90cm free, senior £28, tickets with Extra available; boo in advance, tickets are limited

A charity event organised by Wilmslow District Round Table and Wilmslow Ladies Circle, with help from local community groups.
Food and Drink will be available. Miraculous Meliza Circus Acts will also be on the field.
