Year 7 Assessment Day at Hulme Hall Grammar School

Every parent wants the reassurance that when it’s time to go to secondary school, their child will be welcomed into a caring, nurturing environment and given every chance to succeed. Local co-educational grammar school Hulme Hall offers just that, with an inclusive admissions policy that considers each child’s future potential, rather than simply academic grades.

At Hulme Hall, caring for the individual has been the overarching philosophy since the school was founded in 1928. With the core values of caring, nurturing and achieving, the school recognises every child’s uniqueness and ensures that all pupils can achieve their potential.

It is possible to get a taste of this characteristic warmth and friendliness during an in-session open morning at the school or a personal tour, when families are welcome to look around the facilities and speak to staff and pupils on a normal working day.

Mr Dean Grierson tells us what makes the Stockport school so unique.
We are able to give our pupils the individual care and attention they deserve,” says the Headmaster.  “Every child enters our school with the potential to succeed and it is our commitment to make it happen.

With an excellent pastoral system in place, pupils are made to feel safe and happy with the opportunity to develop as well-rounded individuals.

He continues, “Achieving success is important and our small class sizes, excellent teaching and individual learning programmes enable our pupils to reach and even exceed their academic potential.
