Go Wild This Summer at Mill Gate With the August Safari Trail
Mill Gate Shopping Centre is inviting families and adventurers of all ages to embark on a roaring summer adventure with the launch of its brand-new Safari Trail, running from 2nd – 30th August.
Shoppers will step into the wild as the centre has five new visitors: life-sized safari animals hidden around the mall.
Explorers can hunt down a lion, zebra, elephant, giraffe and gorilla, each accompanied by fascinating fact boards and a hidden letter.
Crack the trail word by collecting all five letters and you could be in with a chance to win a wild prize – one of five animal-tracking bracelets, kindly donated by conservation brand Fahlo.
As part of the month-long activation, Mill Gate will also be hosting five spectacular Live Ranger Days, giving families the chance to get up close and personal with an incredible line-up of animatronic animals – from gorillas and rhinos to baby orangutans and even a croc hatchling.
Live Ranger Day Schedule – approximate timings 11am-3pm:
- Friday 2nd August – Gorilla & Baby Gorilla
- Friday 9th August – Baby Hippo & Baby Rhino
- Friday 16th August – Crocodile, Croc Hatchling & Baby Hippo
- Friday 23rd August – Baby Orangutan, Infant Orangutan & Baby Chimp
- Friday 30th August – Gorilla & Baby Gorilla (encore appearance!)
