Stockport Grammar Pupils Excel in National Enterprise Challenge

A team of four business savvy Second Years from Stockport Grammar School have been named the fourth best team in the country at the Ryman National Enterprise Challenge. The team travelled to the iconic Wembley Stadium for the National Final. Alice Finnie, Alex Bloor, Brooke Richards and Amaya North had created ‘Skyler and Ranger’, a plastic waste fighting duo, to be the new mascot for Ryman.

Summer Fun x 10 at Withington Girls’ School in July and August

Ten different summer camps are run by Withington Girl’s School in July and August this year. Children can take their pick from Film Animation, Art, Creative Writing, Mosaics, Chemistry, Food Technology, Spanish, Folk Music, Irish Dance or the popular Multi-Sports Camp. Holiday camps are open to boys and girls aged 7 upwards.

Cheadle Hulme School takes part in Bluedot festival. Bluedot is the annual music, science and culture festival held at Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre in Macclesfield. This year three students from the independent Cheadle Hulme School, are tasked with sharing their love of all things science and technology with youngsters attending the festival.
