DogFest Returns to Tatton Park this Summer
Looking for a family day out where the dog gets just as much fun as the kids?
DogFest is back at Tatton Park this June — and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic summer weekend for all ages.
Returning to Cheshire on 20th and 21st June 2026, DogFest promises a fun-filled summer weekend packed with activities for dogs, children and grown-ups alike – from agility courses and giant ball pits to countryside walks, live entertainment and plenty of food and shopping stalls.
And this year, there’s an exciting new addition for visitors: much-loved TV presenter Matt Baker will be hosting a brand-new live entertainment area called The Baker’s Arms across the whole weekend.
Open from 9.30am to 4.30pm each day, DogFest is designed to be easy-going and enjoyable for the whole family — including the four-legged members.

Whether your dog loves zooming around agility courses, splashing into water activities or simply enjoying a leisurely countryside stroll, there’s something for every personality.
Families can explore the festival at their own pace while enjoying live shows, interactive activities and plenty of places to stop for food, drinks and a well-earned sit-down.
Meet Matt Baker at The Baker’s Arms
At the heart of the festival will be The Baker’s Arms – a cosy countryside-themed hub where visitors can enjoy live chats, quizzes, games and plenty of feel-good entertainment hosted by Matt Baker himself.
Known for his love of the countryside and family-friendly television, Matt will be appearing throughout the weekend for interactive sessions, audience Q&As and photo opportunities.
Saturday’s highlights include Life With Dogs, where Matt shares stories from life on the farm and the dogs he’s loved over the years, with plenty of audience questions encouraged. He’ll also help host the lively Pub Quiz Final later in the day before meeting visitors for photos.
On Sunday, families can join in with This or That – Countryside Edition, a fun and interactive session where the audience helps decide between classic dog-owner dilemmas like muddy walks or beach days, spaniels or labradors.
Throughout the day, The Baker’s Arms will also feature guest appearances, storytelling sessions and relaxed entertainment – giving families somewhere to sit down, recharge and soak up the atmosphere.
Plenty for Dogs — and Kids — to Enjoy
DogFest is all about celebrating the bond between dogs and their humans, and there’s no shortage of activities to try together.
Visitors can enjoy a huge range of activities throughout the weekend, including Breed Meet-Ups — a great way for dogs (and owners) to make new friends — alongside the popular Agria Fun Dog Show, a light-hearted celebration of much-loved pets of all shapes and sizes.

There will also be plenty of opportunities for dogs to get active, from Dog Diving for confident swimmers and first-time paddlers to the Giant Ball Pit for energetic pups who love to dig and dive. Families can tackle the Dogstacle Course together, take on the countryside-inspired Hay Bale Hurdles, or build confidence and skills on the Dog Agility Courses. Speedy dogs can even compete in the ever-popular DogFest Dash.
For visitors looking for a slower pace, The Paws & Peace Meadow offers a quieter space with shaded seating and even “doga” (dog yoga), while the Agria Dog Walk gives families the chance to enjoy scenic walking routes designed for sniffing, strolling and exploring together.
Alongside the dog-friendly activities, there’ll also be live entertainment, shopping areas, expert talks, training tips, and plenty of food and drink options available throughout the festival.
